Germany cannot indemnify itself, morally or legally, with PR smokescreens and sacks of rice. It must be held accountable for its third genocide in just over a century.
Germany has made a lot of dubious claims in its defense this week in the @CIJ_ICJ , where Nicaragua has brought a case against it for German complicity in the genocide in Palestine. But none are more disgraceful than Germany’s claim that it is somehow innocent of the claims against it because it provides humanitarian assistance to Palestinians. For three years, Germany has armed, funded, and defended the genocide, while smearing, criminalizing, and brutally oppressing those who speak out against it inside Germany. Germany cannot indemnify itself, morally or legally, with PR smokescreens and sacks of rice. It must be held accountable for its third genocide in just over a century.
