Around 400 pieces of heavy machinery operated by Israeli companies are currently being used across the Strip. And according to Euromed Monitor, nearly 100 Israeli trucks have been leaving Gaza every single day in recent weeks, carrying away massive amounts of rubble.
Gaza’s Civil Defense estimates that around 8,500 Palestinians remain missing.
So what is being removed is not just concrete and debris. Beneath those piles of rubble are the remains of Palestinians who were killed and never recovered.
Euromed Monitor reports that Israeli forces and civilian contractors are demolishing what remains of buildings, crushing and mixing the debris, and transporting it out of Gaza.
And all of this is happening while international investigators have still not been allowed into Gaza.
