It is good to see the statements of condemnation of the unlawful US “sanctions” on the ICC coming from states across the globe (more than 80 so far). But statements are not enough. The attacks on the ICC are but one front in a broader assault on international law & institutions by a US-Israel Axis determined to dismantle them to secure their own impunity in the midst of their bloody global rampage. (1) The EU must apply full sanction blocking now. (2) The UNGA must convene under U4P to call for protection of targets & for legal, diplomatic, economic, and political consequences. (3) The ICJ must adopt an advisory opinion on the illegality and non-enforceability of the sanctions. (4) The ICC must initiate an investigation of the perps under Rome Art. 70. (5) All states must declare rejection and non-compliance. (6) The ICC, UNSR Albanese, and the targeted NGOs must be protected & provided with full financial services. (7) Rubio, Trump, and other perps must be held accountable by all lawful
means available to states & international institutions, and (8) Cases in the ICC, ICJ, and national courts against the Israeli regime and its individual perpetrators must be expedited, expanded, and subject to further charges in order to send a clear message to all that the US-Israel scheme will not succeed.
