China is in an awkward position as far as replacing the dollar, because we owe China a lot of money in dollars, and if the dollar devalues too much, China loses money.

There are three hallmarks of a true global empire. Its currency is the world's currency: the US dollar. And as that goes down, so does the US influence around the world.

Another one is US military power. And that's being strongly questioned, because it doesn't win wars anymore. The US hasn't won a war since World War II. And the third one is the language.'
