CHINA REJECTS TRUMP’S “ECONOMIC D-DAY” AGAINST IRAN
Beijing has rejected President Trump’s new campaign of “economic warfare” against Iran, after Washington threatened countries that continue providing Tehran with an economic lifeline.
Asked specifically about Trump’s threats against Iran’s trading partners and their implications for China, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said:
“Imposing sanctions and pressuring do not help to solve the issue.”
