President Trump has appeared to have soured on his decision to start an unending and unwinnable war with Iran he has been desperate to get us out of. With his buyer's remorse appears to have come a realization that had he listened to Vice President JD Vance's warning not to fight it he would be in a much stronger position politically going into the November 3rd mid-term elections. So its not surprising that he  is increasingly opting to back his loyal America First conservative Vice President as his chosen successor over neocon America Last Secretary of State Marco Rubio who he understandably associates with his failed war in Iran.
