Details of the American attack on water infrastructure; destruction of two water tanks in the Bamani district of Sirik, Hormozgan, Kohestak

Following this missile attack that occurred a few hours ago (early Wednesday, June 10, 2026), two strategic water tanks in the Bamani district were targeted and completely destroyed.

These tanks included a 500 cubic meter tank and a 2,000 cubic meter tank, which played a key role in supplying drinking water to the Bamani district and the city of Kohestak.

Currently, the water distribution process in all villages of the Bamani district and the city of Kohestak has been stopped, and operational and crisis management teams of the water company are working to implement alternative measures to provide sustainable water supply.
