US Lost the War with Iran – Now Seeking Face-saving Exit
Col. Douglas Macgregor () drops a stunning assessment of U.S. strategy — and why Trump is now scrambling for a political escape hatch.
He explains Trump wants “a piece of paper that confers” the public impression of credibility and strength on himself so the U.S. can “steal away into the night without any further difficulty.”
But Israel is on a collision course: “For Mr. Netanyahu…the fight with Hezbollah is existential” and it’s a near-impossibility for him to just walk away mid-war.
