The Iran-US MoU was unambiguous: Israel must withdraw fully from southern Lebanon. No Lebanese concessions were required.
Yet Lebanese authorities, undoubtedly under pressure from the US have accepted arrangements that, in effect, legitimize an Israeli military occupation of Southern Lebanon. It sets aside the MoU.
Netanyahu is candid about what this means. The agreement, he says, is a blow to Iran. But he is wrong to say so. It’s not blow to Iran but a blow to the MoU.
Why did Beirut puppet regime surrender? The Lebanese fails to offer any coherent answer. However the Zionist occupation it enables will unravel.
History shows those who align with an occupying powers against their own people inevitably face a reckoning, Netanyahu’s and American chicanery will prove short-lived. What was conceded in a back room will be overturned in battleground.
