Goodness, gracious. Apparently the dressing down of Netanyahu by Trump was a fiction. Note the reported conclusion: Ultimately, the call ended with an understanding: Israel will hold off on striking Beirut as long as it is not attacked within its own borders. In other words, Israel will not ceasefire and will not end the occupation of Lebanon.
