France Says Israeli Firm Targeted NYC Mamdani Mayoral Election
French authorities say Israeli influence firm BlackCore is suspected of meddling in New York City's 2025 election won by Zohran Mamdani, as well as elections in Scotland, France, Angola, and Togo.
The company allegedly ran online smear campaigns before wiping its presence from the internet.
France has asked Israel for explanations and assistance identifying who commissioned the operations.
