The question is not “Was that a mistake?”, but rather: why did US forces not come forward to take responsibility for this mistake? Why did they remain silent?
The answer: because it was not a mistake, but a message. If Iran does not bomb you, we will bomb you by mistake and blame Iran
Yes, rest assured that the missile that struck the airport was not fired from Iran, and the tweets by Abdulkhaleq Abdullah from Abu Dhabi immediately after the missile strike, alongside Foreign Minister Anwar Gargash’s call for a joint defence, are nothing but an exploitation of this deliberate mistake!
That’s the end of it. And whoever remained silent about his mistake and ordered Abdulkhaleq and his ilk to quickly accuse Iran is the one who orchestrated all of this.
