Israel has a documented history of false flag attacks, ruling them out now would be a mistake. Fmr. CIA Analyst Larry Johnson says attacks on Turkey, Cyprus, and Azerbaijan all bear the same fingerprints. Creating the impression that Iran is striking Gulf states while negotiations are ongoing is exactly the kind of operation designed to derail a deal. Iran has been crystal clear: if attacked, they retaliate en masse. They have no incentive to strike first right now. "This is the stupidest thing Trump and Netanyahu could ever want to do. The West is going to suffer terribly from this, much more so than Iran."
