In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi highlighted that the supposed one-page agreement Axios shared a few days ago was "complete nonsense", asserting that it was meant for market manipulation. "But the Iranians said that there is no such document and there is no such agreement," he emphasized. Professor Marandi also stressed that the Iranians are not going to give up their peaceful nuclear program, adding, "They're not going to give Trump a deal better than that of Obama." He added that at the moment, Iran's priority is not the nuclear program, it is peace. "And so the discussions on the nuclear program will be left for a later date. That's what the Iranians have told the Americans. And for the Iranians right now, the priority is to have a ceasefire in Lebanon and, of course, in Palestine, but also to end the siege," Professor Marandi said.
