So now the question: what are the rules of engagement? Are you going to destroy any ship that tries to break the blockade? Will you try to board a ship and take physical control? What if it’s a Chinese ship with a Chinese flag, will you destroy it? What about a Russian ship? What do you think their reaction will be? I know this is being done to make us look tough and strong and scare Iran, but you can see there are some big questions that need answering – before they become a crisis for which we may have no answer. One of the hallmarks of operation epic fury from the beginning, has been that so little forethought has been given to what happens if plan a doesn’t work. Failure to foresee predictable problems this time, could have explosive ramifications.
