You want to know who radicalized the world?
It wasn’t Islam.
It was empire.
It was the drone that arrived before dawn.
The checkpoint that made humiliation routine.
The embargo that turned hunger into policy.
The occupation that taught children the language of graves before they learned the language of school.
The West keeps asking why people hate.
As if hatred fell from the sky by itself.
As if rage is born in scripture and not in rubble.
As if fury appears out of nowhere and not from watching your home turned to dust while the men who did it call themselves civilized.
The only thing more violent than empire’s weapons is its ability to forget where the violence began.
