It is Iran versus the people who have spent generations pretending they are the world.
That distinction matters.
Because the U.S. foreign policy class genuinely believes its preferences are universal, its fears are global, its enemies are humanity’s enemies, and its violence is history’s sad but necessary burden.
That narcissism has killed millions.
So when Iran resists, it is not simply defending territory.
It is refusing civilizational ventriloquism.
Refusing to let empire speak in the name of mankind.
