No, the US does not have a plan because the US is not a sovereign nation to make plans for itself.

A) No, the US does not have a plan aside from maximum destruction and threats, which, clearly, do not work since
1) Iran is fighting for its very survival -and
2) not a single Iranian alive believes anything the US or Israel says.
B) The US has lost every single war in the last century in which they didn’t just drop two nuclear bombs on civilians.
Worse, the US is rapidly losing the driving force behind its imperialism and the very foundation for sending young Americans to die in its illegal wars:
1) the charade of fighting evil / defending freedom and democracy
2) the fantasy about defending its allies or protecting its vassal states.
C) The US today is a superpower in rapid decline because, unlike Russia and China, It’s a monster that has no control of itself. Its political institutions and media are infiltrated and corrupted by powerful individuals and foreign actors displaying no interest whatsoever to benefit the American people or even US hegemony.
No, the US does not have a plan because
the US is not a sovereign nation to make plans for itself.
In my opinion, the JCPOA was a rare anomaly, almost a miracle, and probably the last time ever the US was able to do something in its own interest - for a brief moment in time.
