People will argue that if Hezbollah just stops firing at Israel or stops existing, Lebanon will be safe from war. What a joke. Let’s look at the facts. 1) Hezbollah held their fire for 15 months while Israel bombed and killed almost every day. 15,000 Israeli ceasefire violations and 370 Lebanese killed prove that not firing on Israel doesn’t stop Israel from destroying our homes, stealing our land, and killing our countrymen. 2) Israel carried out invasions, massacres and land theft in Lebanon long before Hezbollah existed. That’s because Israel is a settler colony that seeks endless expansion and will do so with or without a Hezbollah to fight. It’s the reason Hezbollah exists in the first place, you know this. 3) I wish those who demand capitulation to Israel would just admit they are ok with Israeli occupation and total subjugation of Lebanon. It would be more honest than pretending Israel will spare Lebanon if Hezbollah would just stop fighting.
