If Iran had launched a war of aggression against the US and bombed an American girl’s school, killing 175 mostly young schoolgirls, the American people would instantly view it as a global tragedy and demand revenge.

If Iran had launched a war of aggression against the US and bombed an American girl’s school, killing 175 mostly young schoolgirls, the American people would instantly view it as a global tragedy and demand revenge. But since the school was in Iran, the US government expects the outrage to be swept under the rug, because it considers atrocities to be normal in the Middle East. Washington’s victims are somehow always presented as acceptable victims, even if the corpses pile into the hundreds or thousands.
