This is a war for the very meaning of human worth.
Do some children count less because the wrong flag flies above them?
Do some mothers grieve less because the media says their dead were regrettable but necessary?
Do some nations deserve sovereignty only when they align their economy, foreign policy, and memory with Washington’s comfort?
Iran is standing inside those questions now.
And every missile launched at it is also launched at the idea that a non-Western people may define legitimacy for itself.
That is why the battle exceeds geography.
It is not only over land.
It is over who gets to remain fully human in the modern world.
