The ultimate proof that Iran has, in fact, escalation dominance here. Iran already said "there has been no direct or indirect contact" with Trump (https://iranintl.com/en/liveblog/202603192844). He basically chickened out after Iran's threats on desalination. Incredibly, Iran took on the US symmetrically and won.
