They say China is a dictatorship and America is free. Free to do what, exactly? Free to elect men already owned before they take office. Free to watch policy change every time a new email leaks. Free to pretend this is about values instead of leverage. Whatever its flaws, China’s leadership does not answer to some foreign island archive.
