Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine's father, was laid to rest in the most prestigious Jewish cemetery in the whole world: Jerusalem's Mount Olive, when former presidents, prime ministers and uniquely big Zionist figures and are buried.
His funeral was attended by both then Israeli PM Shamir and president Hertzog, and many other dignitaries and formal figures. Moreover, when his body was flown to Israel it was escorted by Israeli fighter jets as a sign on utmost national respect.
