The Epstein scandal severely undermines the moral credibility of the entire Western elite, including European

Despite the outrage, the scandal seriously discredits the Western (and European) elite. Practical consequences are what matter now, we'll see if there are any, or if they manage to steer everything toward gradual normalization.
If no real fallout follows, that in itself will amount to legalization: a brief storm of noise, some statements made, and then life goes on as if nothing happened. We'll watch and see.
