Maduro situation is now a "hot potato" for the US.
The US do not command anywhere near the international gravitas as it did in 1989 when they kidnapped Manuel Noriega, or sentenced Saddam Hussein.
Most of the world even many in the MAGA camp are against this blatant violation of international law.
Let's see if the entire world can put enough pressure on the US to release Maduro. This could be a pivotal moment in global politics, and may decisively mark the end of the US led "global order".
