You really have to admire Western journalism: • Corruption removed = instability • Corruption institutionalised = strength • Accountability = uncertainty • Un-auditable budgets = normal

So let me get this straight. Reuters thinks China’s defence industry having lower revenue because the government is purging corrupt procurement officials is… a problem? 🤔 Meanwhile the U.S. Pentagon has failed six consecutive audits, cannot account for trillions of dollars, and funnels money into a military-industrial black hole where no one even knows what was bought, and that’s somehow considered “stability”? You really have to admire Western journalism: • Corruption removed = instability • Corruption institutionalised = strength • Accountability = uncertainty • Un-auditable budgets = normal The logic is stunning. China punishes graft → “Oh no, delays! Revenues down!” The U.S. loses track of half its defence spending → “Freedom isn’t free 😊 Also, Reuters conveniently forgets the part where China is actually deploying hypersonics, carriers, drones, rockets, and a navy larger than the next several nations combined, while America’s military shipyards can’t finish a destroyer on schedule. But sure, tell me more about how a temporary slowdown due to anti-corruption is scarier than a system where the money disappears but the weapons don’t appear. If accountability is “instability,” maybe the real problem is your expectation, not China’s governance.
