, I’m concerned about foreign-government-funded geofencing campaigns targeting Americans churches. Recent FARA filings and reporting describe an Israeli Foreign Ministry-backed plan to geofence major churches and then target attendees with pro-Israel/anti-Palestinian ads. Could a narrowly tailored bill that bans foreign government-funded geofenced political/issue advertising at sensitive locations (houses of worship, schools, hospitals), and requires clear public disclosures for foreign-state-funded digital issue ads be proposed? This is a privacy, religious freedom, and anti-foreign-interference measure. No foreign country should be allowed to do this.
