If Venezuela’s oil was really being “stolen” by China, Russia or Iran, why is it American companies, not Beijing or Moscow, that spent 20+ years lobbying Washington for regime-change in Caracas? Why did the CIA run operations there, why did the U.S. freeze Venezuela’s foreign assets, why did Washington seize Citgo and hand it to an unelected politician it picked? You don’t lose sovereignty to the countries that buy your oil. You lose sovereignty to the country that sanctions you, starves your economy, confiscates your assets, and tries to install its own government. What you posted isn’t political analysis. It’s a cartoon drawn to hide the fact that the real straw is coming from Washington, and it didn’t ask permission.
