Col. Jacques Baud was sanctioned by the European Union for voicing his analysis of the Ukraine proxy war, citing his works which explicitly used Western and Ukrainian sources and not Russian sources, to show how warped the coverage of the war is in NATO nations. This is ‘free speech’ and ‘democracy’ in the European Union, where any dissent against a march to senseless confrontation and war with Russia is effectively criminalised. This is the same European Union lecturing the global south on ‘democracy’ and ‘free speech’.
