"Genocide and the New Map of the West Asia
”Middle East”:
Today, approximately 7.3 million Palestinians and 7.3 million Jewish Israelis live between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. This demographic parity exposes the fallacy of the so-called “Jewish democratic state” and places Israel in a fundamental existential contradiction.
To understand the trajectory of the conflict, one must move beyond diplomatic delusions and confront the death of slogans that are politically obsolete. The future of Israeli Palestinian relations revolves around four strategic paths, all of which dismantle the myth of a two-state solution.
First, the project of Greater Israel remains the ultimate Zionist aspiration. But it is currently unachievable due to demographic constraints. This goal is not abandonedً it is simply postponed, until forced population change ensures a Jewish majority. In this view, land is secured now, and people are removed later.
Second, the Two-State Solution, as political scientist John Mearsheimer famously said, “is a dead solution, used only to buy time.” Neither Netanyahu nor Israel’s ruling elite believes in it. On the ground, it has been buried by settlement expansion, military domination, and systematic fragmentation of Palestinian society. It lives on only in diplomatic press releases and donor conference talking points.
Third, the apartheid system was the dominant reality in past decades. Israel imposed a framework of legal and institutional segregation separate rights, separate laws, separate lives. This was not a future risk. It was the present. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch confirmed what Palestinians had always known: this was apartheid by design.
But this status quo has evolved. What was once apartheid has now escalated into a full-scale genocide.
The destruction of Gaza, the starvation policies, the systematic targeting of hospitals and infrastructure, the demolitions in East Jerusalem, the settler violence in the West Bank all these are no longer acts of deterrence or collective punishment. They are tools of a larger strategy: the long-term erasure of the Palestinian people from the land.
As historian Ilan Pappé wrote:
"Ethnic cleansing was the basis of Israel’s founding and remains central to its strategy today."
What is unfolding is not a failure of policy. It is policy. A genocide carried out with American sponsorship and diplomatic cover, designed to prepare the ground for a Greater Israel—at a later stage, once the numbers shift.
This is not simply about Israeli autonomy. It is about American power projection. As Mearsheimer writes:
"America will support Israel even when it commits war crimes so long as it serves U.S. interests in the Eastern Mediterranean."
Thus, the so-called two-state solution is not a roadmap. It is a myth a strategic deception. The real choice is between permanent apartheid or mass expulsion.
And in both scenarios, silence is complicity.
