Following various Hebrew feeds I can attest to the breadth and depth of Israeli (Jewish) conviction that Palestinians are not human. Self-styled Israeli liberals used to talk about the "rude awakening" Israeli "messianics" will experience when the "Gaza War" ends. Just about all Israeli Jews are experiencing this rude awakening.
The news of a deal in the making are supposedly supported by a majority of Israeli Jews. In truth, Israeli Jews support one half of this deal - the release of the hostages. The part about Palestinian sovereignty and self-rule, not so much. Israelis "know" that there are no innocent Palestinians and that Palestinians will stop at nothing in their quest to kill all Jews, as will their antisemitic brethren all over the world. Ergo, what solution is there but genocide?
There is no remedy for this condition but driving the Israeli sense of supremacy out of Israeli heads by any and all available means.
