Tomorrow Iran, Russia, and China will jointly send a letter to the UNSC to announce they recognise the end of Resolution 2231.
Russia, China and 121 other countries from the NaM insist that the sanctions reinstated by the US and E3 through the so-called "snapback" mechanism have no legal validity and UN member states are not obligated to implement them.
With the end of this resolution, the status of Iran's issue at the IAEA will also change, and from now on, the IAEA Director-General will no longer be required to issue reports on the JCPOA.
