I will explain this very slowly: 1. We have had more than 700 days of genocide. The UK has been actively complicit throughout.
I will explain this very slowly:
1. We have had more than 700 days of genocide. The UK has been actively complicit throughout.
2. Our government has declared efforts by groups like Palestine Action to stop the genocide – and any support for Palestine Action – to be "terrorism".
3. The same government is now pretending to be shocked that, having outlawed peaceful protest against Israel, it has spurred real terrorism against Jews.
4. The government will now weaponise that act of terror – an act it made far more likely – to further limit our ability to oppose the genocide and speak out in solidarity with Palestinians.
5. Anyone who thinks they are helping the Palestinians or hastening the end of the genocide by colluding in this weaponisation game is extremely naive.
6. You can be shocked at the murder of innocent people in Manchester and be even more shocked at a genocide in Gaza – and blame our government for both.
7. Taking a day off from protesting the genocide because you are worried it might appear "insensitive" doesn't make you a better person. It makes you a useful idiot.
