And it made them go fucking insane with rage. So they had to do what they despise the most. And the fact that they were forced into this shows that despite all their immense wealth and total hegemony over the media and political class and how they love to present themselves in their propaganda, they are not Ubermenschen. Their power is actually incredibly fragile because it is restricted to elite sectors and institutions, and is not rooted in the broader public. It has no organic support whatsoever.
