While it’s unclear how or why those archives vanished, Abulhawa says the coincidence raises concern about a broader digital erasure of Palestinian documentation. Al-Jafarawi, widely followed for his on-the-ground coverage of the Gaza genocide, had faced repeated censorship before his account’s removal.
