Okay, so for many years the collective west have held this notion that China has a ‘social credit score’ system, which is of course complete nonsense, try asking any Chinese citizen about it and they will have no idea what you are talking about. It was just something made up by the west and pushed through all anti China channels. China does however have a credit score system, similar to many other countries, banks and financial institutions use this when deciding to loan money to you. There are also restrictions on people who owe large sums of money or who have declared bankruptcy, like restricted first class travel or restrictions to be able to stay in luxury hotels.

If I remember correctly didn’t Edward Snowden’s reveal that the NSA were doing something similar a few years ago….
