Given that Germany is probably the country in the world with the most extreme suppression of speech on this subject (to the extent that I'm even surprised this question could be asked), it really illustrates how Israel has completely and utterly lost global public opinion.
It also raises obvious questions on the meaning of a "democracy": isn't it supposed to be a system of government where policy reflects the will of the people?
In this instance not only it doesn't, but on top of that speaking those views often gets you labeled an extremist.
