It was recently revealed that when informed, after the first carpet-bombing of Gaza, that 1500 "targets" had been hit he banged on his desk and shouted "why not 5000?!?!" Today he reportedly said to the air force officers leading the bombing that "we demolished 50 towers today and it is only the beginning". Destruction for the sake of destruction. Not even a remote attempt at any kind of justification. It was always the worst fulfillment of the collective fantasy. It was always genocide.
