It is not pro-Palestine against pro-Israel. It is humanity against monsters.
It is not pro-Palestine against pro-Israel. It is humanity against monsters. And I'll tell you exactly why.
I lived almost my whole life in Israel, and in the last two years, give or take a few months, I have spent most of my waking hours living and breathing resistance, among and along people who share the view of total opposition to Israel's criminality (and, increasingly, as it has become clear action and player cannot be separated in this case, opposition to the very existence of Israel).
I spent tens of thousands of hours interacting with Arabs and Muslims, Palestinians and so many others, from Pakistan to London, New York, and Mexico City (and a great many white Westerners who were just as beautiful and driven by justice).
I learned how these people express anger, pain, frustration, and disgust, and also joy and love. I have seen their world and character. Which leads me to say with absolute assurance:
If things were different, or opposite, and tens of thousands of Israeli Jewish children would have been slaughtered, the people with whom I spent so much time online and in reality would not have rejoiced, justified, condoned, and denied the mass murder.
They would be pained and shocked. They'd want it to stop.
The great big consensus in the pro-Palestine camp, including Muslims and Arabs, would be appalled by a continued stream of images of slaughtered Israeli Jewish children. Two weeks of this, and they would demand an end and global intervention.
You know why? Not because they 'love Jews'; because they are normal people, and the sight of a suffering child crushes them, as nature (or god) intended humans to be.
Zionists could not give a single fuck. It is not because they 'love Jews'. It is because they are crazy, and hatred for life and humanity is the core of their identity.
They weren't even truly saddened by October 7. Once they got over the initial shock, they became filled with ecstasy: finally, they had the mega excuse to carry out what they had always craved to do.
So this is not a battle between people who love children from one group and people who love children from another group. It is a battle between people who love life and can see and feel the preciousness of childhood and children (and family, and community, and elderly people), and people who have become sick with urges to punish, dominate, subjugate, and destroy.
For me, personally, the thought of Israeli children being torn to pieces, or having their limbs amputated without anesthesia, is a vision from hell; it is the dream of virtually no pro-Palestinian or anti-Zionist. If there are some who have those fantasies, the resistance mainstream will speedily shut them down, and out. They will be looked at as deranged, and rightly so.
Sadistic bliss in the other's acute and prolonged suffering and pain (which a slogan like 'release the hostages' demonstrates perfectly) sits firmly, and exclusively, in the Zionist camp. And American Zionists exemplify this almost better than anyone else. They actually deeply enjoy the suffering of brown people.
They are natural sadists and liars. They are precisely what they accuse Hamas, or 'Muslims' of.
