Palestinian journalists — who paid with their lives to show the world what was unfolding — exposed the scale of destruction and civilian suffering. At the same time, Israeli soldiers themselves undermined the state’s propaganda, broadcasting livestreams of genocide and sharing footage that revealed endless war crimes. Far from shaping global opinion, these actions have fuelled unprecedented outrage, leaving Israel more isolated, most hated and reviled than at any point in its modern history.
