Hebrew Channel 12 revealed that Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, in closed sessions with political leadership, admitted what Israel’s battlefield already shows: Hamas cannot be eliminated, neither militarily nor politically, even after the occupation of Gaza City.
Zamir framed it as an “alignment of expectations,” effectively warning Netanyahu’s cabinet that their stated war goals remain unattainable.
