Who would ever have thought that an economic crisis would derive from replacing cheap Russian energy with expensive American energy; shutting down nuclear power plants ahead of a global energy shortage; not developing technological sovereignty in the middle of the Fourth Industrial Revolution; responding to multipolarity by severing economic ties with Russia and China in favour of excessive dependence on the US which is pivoting to Asia; open the borders to unskilled labour; stealing sovereign funds of a great power; redividing and militarising Europe to fight Russia yet again etc.
