Australia announces it’s recognizing a Palestinian state, Albanese openly calls Netanyahu “in denial” about killing civilians, 350k+ people march nationwide in massive pro-Palestine protests… and within days, Canberra suddenly “discovers” an Iranian terror plot on Australian soil, expels the Iranian ambassador, designates the IRGC a terrorist group, and aligns the messaging perfectly with Israel’s strategic narrative. They’re not even trying to hide the sequencing, the diplomatic retaliation is just wrapped in the language of “counterterrorism” to give it cover.
