The only fiction here is America pretending it fought fascism when it was busy franchising it.

You could Google this in 30 seconds, but ignorance is the last refuge of empire. Operation Paperclip brought over 1,600 German scientists, engineers, and technicians to the U.S., including Wernher von Braun, SS officer, Nazi party member, and user of concentration camp labor to build V-2 rockets. Spain? Franco’s fascist regime was embraced by Washington after 1953, when Eisenhower signed defense and economic pacts with him. Greece? The U.S. backed the CIA-assisted 1967–74 military junta that jailed, tortured, and killed its own people. Latin America? Pick a country and a decade. Pinochet in Chile, Videla in Argentina, Somoza in Nicaragua, Stroessner in Paraguay, the Guatemalan military after the 1954 coup, and the death squads in El Salvador. All armed, trained, or funded by the U.S. You can’t "make things up" when it’s in the congressional record, declassified CIA files, and history books written by people who actually did the reading. The only fiction here is America pretending it fought fascism when it was busy franchising it.

How many of those scientists were members of the Nazi party? What fascist regimes did the US back in Spain, Greece, or Latin America? You really need to stop making things up.
