The murder of Anas Al-Sharif and his crew brings the number of journalists killed by Israel since October 7, 2023 to 237 – more than those killed in World Wars 1 and 2 combined. Those were real wars fought between several armies. That isn’t the case here. There’s no precedent for the rapid and deliberate extermination of Gaza’s journalists.
