A letter now circulating across dozens of Likud WhatsApp groups lays bare the panic inside Netanyahu’s own party. Shaviv Stern, chairman of the Likud National Headquarters, warns: “If this war ends with a weak response, it will be a total failure of Israel’s security policy… our enemies will recognize the breach through which the state can be defeated… Netanyahu’s responsibility is not only ministerial but a clear guilt.” Even Netanyahu’s base is now saying openly what resistance has proven on the battlefield: Israel is bleeding, divided, and incapable of delivering the “decisive victory” it promised.
