Day after Emanuel Macron says France will recognize Palestine, UK PM Keir Starmer says "Recognition of a Palestinian state has to be" a step taken. Still affirms his view that recognition must be part of a process—not by itself. Comes as 220+ MPs demand UK recognizes Palestine.
