We shouldn't think of genocide only in terms of the maximalist killing of the Holocaust or the Rwandan slaughter. Genocide can also involve killing "part" of a group, as a means to an end. That's what Israel is doing in Gaza, to advance ethnic cleansing. theguardian.com/commentisfree/
