The danger isn’t Hamas. The danger is the logic that says Palestinians must behave while being starved, must remain peaceful while being bombed, must stay silent while being erased. Or else they deserve their destruction.
Imagine this, Lucas.
You are born in a cage you didn’t choose.
You have never seen freedom.
You were never offered choice. Only conditions.
You’ve never known a day without drones overhead, soldiers at the gate, and raids in the night.
Your home was stolen.
Your village wiped off the map.
Your family lives under blockade.
The electricity flickers.
The water is poisoned.
The sky hums with surveillance.
You watch your parents humiliated at checkpoints.
Your neighbors buried beneath rubble.
Your school flattened without warning.
And one day, you bury your child in pieces because an army with American weapons decided your neighborhood was a "threat."
Then you're told your grief doesn't count.
Because a resistance group founded in 1987 gives your killers permanent immunity.
As if the occupation came second.
As if the rockets appeared before the ruins.
As if the dispossession started with the reaction.
As if you’re not even human.
Just an obstacle to be cleared.
A body to be erased.
A story to be explained away.
No, Lucas.
The danger isn’t Hamas.

This is not peacekeeping.
It is colonial cruelty dressed as defense.
